your boy Taboo has been in town lately. last week he went locals only on it and took the SGV out for some Taboo vs. Azul in Alhambra action, and I've got the pics to prove it! it was mad fun, you should have been there. I even convinced Tab to tell me his infamous Prince Story.

ASR and Agenda are right around the corner, and it sounds like it might be pretty rad this time. SGV will be there, lurking harder than ever!

I've got good excuses why I haven't updated in a minute.
1) Illmatic- i got mad sick. headaches, sore body, the runs, the whole nine.
2) who got game? - I bought a used copy of NHL RIVALS 2004 for the XBOX and have been on a binge ever since.
3) In The Mix for 06- end of the year celebratory shit got me caught up.

so now i'm out of excuses and i'm R.F.T.W (ready for the world). the first offering from SGV this year is an interview with Vince Domingo, team manager and marketing dude from L-R-G.

I know I've been lagging on party pics, so whether you like it or not I've compiled some imagery from the past couple months for you to peruse. get ready for some fiesta photo galleries. we've got lots of catching up to do.

yeah man, went to the annual Baker Christmas demo this weekend. JKL had a dream session on the mini ramp with Eric Ellington, Braydon Sza, and Jeff Lenoce. Mijo didnt' get nathing. Jardaski got a new hat and some tshirts. we saw Andrew Reynolds frontside flip into the stratosphere... no pics, sorry.

I ran into your boy Chingo Bling the other day and he told me a funny little story.

xmas party on the 23rd at Taboo's house. SGV will be there. expect to see an online gallery sooner than later.

the other day a homeless dude told me and Christ One a good joke.

I'm feeling skating right about now. SGV is feeling BAKER right about now. on a drunken dare, SGV OG Dalski aproached Leo Romero at a club recently and got a cool little interview. and I saw Brayden a few days ago wearing the gnarliest shirt ever. and you know me, I had to document it.

when I first started this website, I wasn't exactly sure what its purpose was going to be. was it gonna be some obscure "strictly for the homies" site that only 6 people would ever see? was it gonna be some full on webzine with gnarly interviews with industry movers and shakers? was it gonna be an online spot to sell SGV t-shirts? it is what it is... we're trying to evolve and adapt to the climate and I'm cool with that.
