what exactly is the SGV?
SGV is just us doing us. it started off as a handful of homies who met each other via the San Gabriel Valley skate scene. we all decided that the SGV was the coolest place to live and skate, and that's why we decided to rep it. we are the SGV; a motley crew of foolish individuals that are into all kinds of randomness we think is pretty darn cool... learn about it.

okay... so what is SGV again?
we like skating, music, partying, wearing fresh kicks and tee's (when we can afford them). we use the website to report on interesting stuff in and out of the San Gabriel Valley perimeter. luckily we have some really cool friends (the infamous, yaheardof'em) who are hella supportive and we've managed to get some rad interviews and other multimedia gems. SGV; not just an area east of Los Angeles, but a state of mind.

do you guys sell T-shirts?
yes. since 2005, we've been peddling our cotton commodities. most of the graphics are inspired by life in the San Gabriel Valley. we think they rule. check out the SGV MARKET and get you some.

are you guys only interested in the San Gabriel Valley area?
hellz naw. in fact, sometimes we're not sure if the San Gabriel Valley is ready for the SGV. we travel outside our little hood as often as possible. LA is a huge place, the United States is even huger, and there's still the whole international thing (I guess that's what this website is for). but don't get it twisted, no matter where we're at we always rep SGV to the fullest.

what is the philosophy behind SGV?
skating, smoking, straight-West coastin'. we aren't mathematical or scientifical. we're not lyrical or rhythmic. we don't get inspired by nature. we're just some suburban kids that went to public school and ended up like this. we think we're lucky to be SGV. the right place at the right time.
