1.20-21.06 what can I say? it's the bi-annual ASR show in sunny San Diego where you can always count on plenty of little annoying kids, the Reef girls, and the SGV lurking around. But I did notice one thing different this time; every booth had free beer (it's not just for the Volcom booth anymore). that was really good news for the Oner who went down to ASR with a maximum food/party budget of $40 for 2 days. we saw lots of friends, enjoyed a performance by your boy Ghostface, drank way too much during daylight hours, and had way more fun than we deserve. this year I had to help film Stevie Williams for an upcoming dvd he's about to drop thru SkateProperty.com. if you don't know, now you know.

 

 

so yeah, free beer is pretty cool aka courage juice.

later that night we hustled our way thru the doors of Bela in downtown Daygo. I guess it was the place to be; Diamond Nick, Collin McKay, and Greg Carroll.

 

 

a little while later Ghostface took the stage. this is the best pic we got. i know his head is cut off, but you have to believe me, it's really him. *check out your homie theCobraSnake.com in the background with one of his patented "oh no he didn't" outfits.

Matix hosted a handrail contest that was pretty rad. the blur you're looking at is Chris Cole doing a frontside salad grind.

 

 

over at the Tum Yeto booth Ed Templeton was drawing turtleboys for all the fans.

 

 

Christ Oner asked this girl if he could take a picture of her butt cleavage. she abliged him. yah for drunk white girls.

 

 

I was trying to recruit Danny Garcia for the SGV but it turns out that he lives in Brea. you get an honorary ghetto pass Danny.
